Hosting well over 100 sport, cultural, and community events and tournaments each year, Kamloops offers world-class facilities, a strong athletic culture, expertly trained officials, and an enthusiastic volunteer base.

Kamloops has a proven track record of hosting world-class events that focus on providing an exceptional athlete experience while competing in premier facilities. We have built our vision and dream around the Canadian Sport Policy and by embracing the goals of this policy, Kamloops is realizing the results of increased participation, economic generation of sport tourism, and first-class facilities.

When visiting Kamloops, hike amongst sagebrush and hoodoos within minutes fromcity nature parks or shred down singletrack at the Kamloops Bike Ranch, Canada’s largest municipal bike park. Reel in a trophy Rainbow Trout on one of 100+ lakes around Kamloops or go swinging with your friends on golf courses along mountain tops and rivers.Taste wine with the owners at the Thompson Valley wineries, discover innovative brews and cocktail flights poured right from the tanks, and spoil your tastebuds with dishes serving up local ingredients from vegan to flavours from around the world. Take a self-guidedwalk through over 30 murals in the downtown Back Alley Art Gallery or seek out the dynamic history of the area including the infamous Billy Miner nestled in Kamloops’ roots.
